The business of Pest Control!

Someone dropped by my business yesterday, we have a Contract United States Post Office within our Pest Management office. He was showing his kids our bug/snake collection and I went out and got into a discussion with him and the family. His said he frequently drops by to use the Post Office and wanted to ask some questions – so here they are:

  1. I see signs for $25 pest control what is going on with that, he stated he was paying I believe $35 to his Pest Management Company? I said that many companies use generic products that sometimes don’t perform the way other products do, we use Demand CS or CyHalo Cap because it holds up better in the extreme heat and sun that we have in Arizona, we also stay up-to-date on the most current pesticides so that we can often times use less but get a better control period on those pests.
  2. Can I do it myself? Yes you can but the fact of the matter is it isn’t always the pesticide its the knowledge that a Professional pest Management company has, for example I’m an Associate Certified Entomologist and I’m rather good at what I do (I’m not bragging) but I don’t change my own brakes (because I wouldn’t know what I was doing), but I know bugs. The other factor is that many well intentioned people begin the project but then forget to do it monthly or on a schedule – we come to your home on a schedule, we call the day before and we perform the service – we don’t forget.
  3. I have been seeing and reading about this bedbug problem, can they jump on my kids at school or make their way into my home from a neighbors home? Bedbugs are becoming a problem these days, but they need to hitch a ride on something. They can be transported by backpacks, suitcases but cannot just walk over from your neighbors home. There are precautions you can take, keep reading my blog and stay informed.

I learned a valuable lesson early in life, it’s not just about the sale today it is about a life long resltionship with your customers. I have many people say to me, I already have a bug guy but if something happens I’ll give you a call. You know something that is OK by me, ProBest has always done quality work and will continue to Top Notch and experts at what we do. We want our customers to use our service because they trust our service and we will do everything we can do to keep the bugs at bay.
